Tyson & Chelsea Steffen
Clock Realty & Insurance in Larned, Kansas has been one of the most trusted real estate brokers and insurance agencies in Central Kansas for over fifty five years. And recently, local couple Tyson and Chelsea Steffen took over operations of the agency, with exciting plans for growing the brokerage’s service offerings.
“This agency has a strong reputation for personal service, and we hope to continue building on that,” Chelsea Steffen says. “Both Tyson and I have a background in the agricultural industry, so we are hoping to expand our services to better service the businesses and farmers in our region. We are fortunate to keep all of the staff we have now to make the transition as seamless as possible for our customers.”
Currently the brokerage specializes in residential real estate transactions and property and casualty insurance lines, such as auto, homeowners, farm and commercial insurance. With the new ownership, the agency will also be expanding into commercial and agricultural real estate transactions. Tyson Steffen is also licensed as a real estate appraiser, and his sister company Ad Astra Appraisal will be a welcome addition to the team’s list of services for their real estate clients.
Clock Realty & Insurance was founded by Jack Clock in 1965. Over the years, numerous real estate and insurance professionals helped build the agency, including Del Fischer, licensed Broker and insurance agent, who is still part of the team under the new ownership. Fischer has been in the industry since 1986, and was the most recent owner of the company, along with her husband Paul since 2009, before selling to the Steffens. Other professionals on staff include April Leveling, insurance professional; Felicia Snodgrass, Realtor; Kathy Stucker, Realtor; and Shannon Fischer; Realtor.
Tyson and Chelsea were both born and raised in the area, Tyson growing up north of Burdett and Chelsea growing up in the Larned area. In addition to living and working in the area since they completed their college educations, the couple also stay active in various civic organizations and are raising their three daughters in Larned. “We try to promote our community wherever we can, and this new business will give us even more opportunity to advocate for the communities we care about,” Tyson Steffen says. “We commit to all of our past and future clients to operate this business with honesty and integrity, treating every customer with respect and a down-to-earth approach. They deserve our full attention, and we are excited to help grow Clock Real Estate & Insurance with a great team of professionals around us.”

I have worked in the Real Estate and Insurance industry since 1986. I am a licensed broker and insurance agent for Clock Realty & Insurance.
I came to Larned in December 1982 when I married my husband Paul Fischer.
I enjoy working with the public and assisting them with their buying and selling needs. It is a privilege to help a Seller get their home sold. Further, it is rewarding to help a buyer find their dream home. It is most important to be trusted to do both of these jobs.
I also appreciate the opportunity to help the public with their insurance needs. It is important to give good advice to my insurance customers. We have great companies to work with and will do the best we can to meet your expectations in servicing your insurance needs.

Shannon Fischer
Shannon Fischer is our newest realtor. Her past work experience in Larned, at both the State Hospital and in banking will give her an understanding of how to meet the needs of her future customers. She is a native of Larned and is a past graduate of Larned High and Kansas State University. “I will work hard to partner with my clients and to help them achieve their goals. April Leveling
April Leveling is our newest insurance agent here at Clock Realty & Insurance. She moved to Kansas in 2018 from the Dallas/Fort Worth area. April is married to Justin that grew up here in Larned, Kansas. She received her Kansas Insurance license in December after moving here and is excited to get to know all of Clock's customers. Since she started working here she has brought some fresh new ideas to this office. April looks forwards to helping you with all your insurance needs.
